Since we started the company in 2013, we've always shipped our blankets in poly mailers. These mailers are super inexpensive, standard with warehouses, have various size options, and are durable against the elements if a package is left outside. Our focus has been driven by two things: cost and durability.
With our membership of 1% For The Planet and our increased focus on sustainability, we wanted to create a better shipping solution for our customers, and for the Earth.

We want to tell our brand story, bring our customers along for the journey, make everyone aware of the product and our brand's focus on the environment and social good. We work with a box supplier that's only a few miles from our warehouse, reducing the carbon emissions of shipping boxes.
We created two box sizes: one blanket and two blankets. We've optimised the sizing to fit our most popular product, The Original Puffy Blanket, and still have some room for a few beer blankets.
We reduced the size of the internal flap to size cardboard and weight. Best of all, only one piece of recyclable paper tape is needed to keep your Rumpl goods secure!
We use recyclable paper tape. No need to separate plastic tape like we all hate doing! Simply fold your box flat and add to your recycling bin. Easy as that!
